Destructive Testing

Thought you where an engineer and could rebuild
it stronger,fast, but it just exploded into
smaller pieces. Maybe your just a test Gorilla
and beat things until the tow truck shows
up. So you've been guilty of crimes against the

1962 Cadillac speedometer to odometer spline
shaft. After 95,455.6 miles the pilot hole
elongated, causing the splines to wobble then 
strip and jam.


I guess the people in this seat 
lost interest in the in-flight
movie.


1971 Cheyenne 20, 4sp tranny output
shaft and transfer case coupler.
The C-clip was supposed be installed
in the groove inside the coupler. 
This would have prevented the coupler
from sliding back leaving enough
slop for it to strip. Attention
to detail will get you everytime.
